The naked bodies of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been immortalized in a sculpture.
Controversial celebrity artist Daniel Edwards has unveiled a sculpture that depicts young celebrity couple Bieber and Gomez in their birthday suits, with only a maple leaf and a star covering the youngsters’s privates. The maple leaf refers to Bieber’s being Canadian while the star pertains to Gomez’s Texas roots. The sculpture, which Edwards calls “Justin and Selena as One,” shows the two singers connected at the ribs. Bieber and Gomez’s statue is mounted on a pedestal with a “Justin & Selena Forever” engraving.
In a statement released Tuesday, Edwards said the sculpture “should be considered for installation at Canadian Embassies around the globe as a symbol of Canada’s prowess in the areas of art and commerce.” The statue is expected to publicly debut at a Dallas sex shop called New Fine Arts.
Edwards has been a magnet for controversy due to his past works, which include a naked Britney Spears giving birth and Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes daughter Suri’s supposed first poop.
